We now welcomed Bathy Wenga as Department Manager for Health, HIV and Gender.
We organized a day for educating youth around the KBNP about how to avoid the HIV/AIDS infection. Bathy said to the crowd of young girls and boys “Being born among a community sharing boundary with gorillas is a great blessing, thus it would be very sad if people like you get infected with HIV/AIDS virus.” And Bathy explained in detail about the danger of this fatal disease of the century.
Barthélemy (Bathy) Wenga Mulindwa, has Master’s degree in HIV/Aids management at Stellenbosch University in South Africa.
